Keythorpe Hall
For Keythorpe Hall the project aimed to reflect the natural, honest approach to sustainability and the detailed use of the walled garden in all aspects of the tailored restaurant and country house.
From garden to table, intricate tablecloths covered in foxgloves (poisonous digitalis), cheekily adorn the vast dining table.
Using the flowers from Keythorpe’s walled garden, the mural reflects the nature of Keythorpe to use every part of the plant for both its restaurant and decoration. These prints were used on wall hangings and lampshades around the house as well as hand screen printed paper stencil lampshades created for specific bedrooms.
‘Charlotte is responsible for beautifully crafted wallpapers, headboards, lampshades and wall hangings throughout. Her gorgeous but labour intensive work incorporates a flocking technique first developed in the 17th century, with some bed headboards displaying her life-like, utterly fabulous furry bumblebees’
